The Washington Wizards bolster roster today by announcing the signing of forward Michael Foster Jr. on an Exhibit 10 contract.
In order to create room on the 21-man roster, rookie guard Chase Audige, who was also under an Exhibit 10 deal, was waived.
Foster, who went undrafted last year, had previously played for the G League Ignite during the 2021/22 season.
He later joined the Sixers, spending the early weeks of the regular season on a two-way contract and making his NBA debut during that stint.
However, he was released in November, leading him to complete the season with the Delaware Blue Coats, the Philadelphia G League affiliate.
At the age of 20, Foster maintained an average of 13.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in 41 games for the Blue Coats last season, playing a significant role that contributed to the NBAGL championship victory in the spring.
