According to TMZ, Tory Lanez and his wife Raina Chassagne are reportedly getting a divorce. Raina filed for divorce last week, citing irreconcilable differences.
They got married quietly on June 25, 2023, just before Lanez was sentenced for shooting Megan thee Stallion.
Raina is seeking legal and physical custody of their 7-year-old son, Kai. Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison in August 2023 for shooting and wounding Megan Thee Stallion, and he has filed an appeal against his conviction.
Tory Lanez’s initial bail request was denied by a judge on September 14, leading to his transfer to North Kern State Prison in California to serve his sentence. Despite attempts by his legal team to appeal, including a motion filed in February, Tory faced repeated denials.
Prosecutors requested and received an extension until June 27 to respond to Tory’s appeal brief. If these appeals are unsuccessful, Tory will not be eligible for parole until November 2029.
