The Milwaukee Bucks brought in Terence Davis for a workout on Wednesday, with hopes of signing him if he meets their expectations, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Davis, a veteran guard, joined the Trail Blazers’ G League team last season and earned a spot on the NBAGL team. Unfortunately, he suffered a torn Achilles, which kept him sidelined for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
Now looking to make his return, Davis is focused on staying in the NBA rather than playing overseas. However, the Bucks’ roster is nearly full, with 14 players on guaranteed contracts, Andre Jackson on a partially guaranteed deal, and all two-way spots already filled by Ryan Rollins, Stanley Umude, and Anzejs Pasecniks.
While it’s unlikely Davis will secure a full roster spot, he could still land an Exhibit 10 contract. This would allow him to earn a bonus of up to $77.5K if he spends at least 60 days with the Bucks’ G League affiliate.
In his four NBA seasons, the 27-year-old guard has averaged 8.0 points in 16.1 minutes per game.
