Suns Make Grayson Allen Untouchable in Trade Market

The Phoenix Suns have decided make shooting guard Grayson Allen untouchable in trade discussions, as per Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.

Although there were considerations of trading Allen and Nassir Little, Allen is no longer part of any talks leading up to the February 8 trade deadline.

According to Fischer, “Allen has played so well in Phoenix, as part of the three-team megadeal that landed Lillard in Milwaukee, the Suns are no longer considering him for a trade before next month’s deadline, according to league sources”

In response to the rumors, Allen said,

“My name has been in someone’s tweet every year since I’ve been in the league. I hardly pay any attention to it.

Usually, it brings a smile to my face because it’s a little funny. I’ve loved playing here this season. I love playing with this team. I don’t want to be traded.”

Allen’s on-court performance has been noteworthy, averaging 13.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists, with impressive shooting percentages.

Despite being part of a team with stars like Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, Allen has become a valuable presence.

In terms of contract details, Allen is earning $8.5 million in the final year of his contract, with career averages from his time with the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Milwaukee Bucks, and Suns.
