Reports : Brook Lopez Trade Possible as Bucks Eye Defensive Changes

The Milwaukee Bucks face several roster decisions this summer as they prepare for their first full season with Doc Rivers as head coach. They may consider implementing some strategic changes for the upcoming season.

One player who might be affected is Brook Lopez, according to Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer.

“There are rumblings that the Bucks would like to play a more versatile style of defense next season, which raises the question of whether Brook Lopez has a future there.” Kevin wrote.

Lopez has one year left on his contract worth $23 million and is approaching his 36th birthday. Despite his age, he has remained a productive player, averaging 12.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game last season.

The Bucks were eliminated by the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the playoffs this season, after previously losing to them in the semifinals of the in-season tournament.
