Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio, real name Charles Jones, was sadly shot and killed in Tampa, Florida, on his 26th birthday, per reports.
Early this morning at 4:40 AM, four people in two separate cars were shot in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn in Tampa.
Three of the victims survived. Julio Foolio had been kicked out of his Airbnb and had moved to a new location. Throughout his career, he had many clashes with rivals and public feuds, making him no stranger to gun violence.

In November 2021, he survived a shooting in Jacksonville, where he was grazed by a bullet during a fight. Despite trying to protect himself with legally registered firearms, he couldn’t escape the violent cycles that followed him.
Foolio became known in the rap scene for his raw storytelling and open conflicts with other artists, especially his ongoing feud with fellow Jacksonville rapper Yungeen Ace. This rivalry brought him both fame and danger, attracting fans and violence into their lives.
