The Phoenix Suns have an available spot on their team. Recently, the Pistons and Hawks waived Mike Muscala and Patty Mills, respectively, with Muscala agreeing to a buyout.
John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 suggests that the Suns aren’t interested in either player.
Instead, they are likely to convert Saben Lee’s two-way contract into a standard one, which Gambadoro believes is highly probable.
It’s important to note that Lee, drafted 38th in 2020, is in his fourth NBA season and won’t be eligible for two-way contracts beyond the current season.
This season, Saben Lee has been scoring an average of 3.5 points per game, grabbing 1.5 rebounds, and dishing out 1.2 assists, with a field goal percentage of 41.2%.
He holds the highest free throw rate among NBA players who have played at least 100 minutes, as per Sam Cooper . Despite being a guard with lower usage, Lee averages 9.6 free throw attempts per 36 minutes of play.
