Nuggets Sign Jaylin Williams, Gabe McGlothan to Exhibit 10 Deals

The Denver Nuggets have agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with Auburn forward Jaylin Williams, who went undrafted on the final day of draft night, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac.

They are also signing undrafted Grand Canyon forward Gabe McGlothan to a training camp contract, Smith adds.

This Jaylin Williams, not to be confused with the player of the same name in Oklahoma City (Jalen and Jaylin Williams), is a 6’8″ forward who played for the Auburn Tigers for the past five years.

He had his best college season in 2023/24, setting career highs with 12.4 points per game, a 57.4% field goal percentage, and a 39.5% three-point percentage over 34 games, averaging 24.1 minutes per game.

For McGlothan, he played a key role in Grand Canyon’s victory in the NCAA Tournament this year and won the collegiate slam dunk contest.

In the 2023/24 season, McGlothan averaged 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game, while shooting 47.7% from the field and 39.8% from three-point range.

In addition to signing Williams and McGlothan, the Nuggets also signed All-Star guard Russell Westbrook to a two-year deal yesterday.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a non-guaranteed minimum-salary deal that doesn’t count against a team’s salary cap unless the player makes the regular season roster. This contract can be converted to a two-way deal before the season starts or can earn the player a bonus of up to $77.5K if he is waived and then spends at least 60 days with the team’s G League affiliate.
