Nuggets Sign Bryce Wills, Waive 3 Players in Preparation for Regular Season

The Denver Nuggets have made several roster moves, which involves the signing of guard Bryce Wills and the release of Amida Brimah, Jamorko Pickett, and Au’Diese Toney, as per Nuggets reporter Harrison Wind.

Bryce Wills, a 6-foot-6 guard, who had previously played for the Grand Rapids G-League team last season, is expected to continue his stint there in the upcoming season.

In the 2022-23 season, Wills participated in 31 games with the Grand Rapids Gold, averaging 6.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.

Amida Brimah, a 6-foot-10 center hailing from Ghana, had a brief appearance with the Pacers during the 2020/21 season, featuring in five games with limited playing time.

He went undrafted from UConn in 2017 and has garnered experience in the G League, along with stints in France and Belgium over the past two seasons.

Jamorko Pickett, who played college basketball at Georgetown, remained undrafted in 2021.

He secured a two-way contract with the Pistons for the 2021/22 season, making appearances in 13 games with Detroit.

Also, Au’Diese Toney, a 6-foot-6 wing, spent three seasons at Pitt during his college career before transferring to Arkansas in the 2021/22 season.

He made his professional debut with the Lakeland Magic (now known as the Osceola Magic) during the 2022/23 season.

Across 28 regular-season games, he displayed solid performance, averaging 8.5 points and 4.6 rebounds with impressive shooting efficiency.

These waived players are likely to join Bryce Wills at the Nuggets’ G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Gold.
