The Miami Heat have signed Keshad Johnson, an undrafted rookie forward from Arizona to a two way deal, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.
Also the club has finalized agreement with Zyon Pullin from Florida, signing him to two-way contract, as reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Johnson, a 6’7” swingman, played his first four seasons at San Diego State before transferring to Arizona for his bonus senior year. During the 2023/24 season, he averaged 11.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game, shooting 53% from the field, 38.7% from three-point range, and 71% from the free-throw line.
Pullin, an All-SEC honoree, had a five-year collegiate career starting at UC Riverside before transferring to Florida for his final season. As a guard standing 6’4”, he averaged 15.5 points on 44.4% shooting from the field, 44.9% from beyond the arc, and 84.7% from the free-throw line.
He also contributed 4.9 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 0.9 steals per game, starting in 27 out of 33 games in the 2023/24 season.
Additionally, Miami has agreed to sign Bryson Warren to an Exhibit 10 deal, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Warren, a 6’3” combo guard, previously played for the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Heat’s NBAGL affiliate.
He averaged 7.8 points, 1.9 assists, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.8 steals in 17 regular-season games, shooting 38.1% from the field, 30.6% from three-point range, and 77.8% from the free-throw line.
An Exhibit 10 contract for Warren could potentially lead to a conversion into a two-way contract or set him up to earn a bonus if he gets waived and then joins the Sioux Falls Skyforce again.
