3:50PM ; Dereck Lively Ruled out for Game 4 vs Timberwolves
3:30PM : The Dallas Mavericks have provided a positive update on Maxi Kleber and Dereck Lively II ahead of Game 4 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Both players are listed as questionable for this game. Kleber has been sidelined since injuring his shoulder during Game 6 of the first round.
Meanwhile, Lively suffered a neck injury in the previous game against the Timberwolves, but MRI results came back okay, and he’s expected to play if possible.
If Kleber and Lively are unable to play, their next opportunity to return to the Mavericks’ lineup could be in the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics or the Indiana Pacers.
The Mavericks currently lead the series 3-0 against the Wolves, and the NBA Finals are set to begin on June 6.
