Phoenix Suns shooting guard, Devin Booker, departed Saturday’s defeat against Houston Rockets during the final quarter due to a right ankle sprain.
He sustained the injury while defending Rockets guard Fred VanVleet, as he and his teammate Royce O’Neale tangled their feet on defense with just over a minute remaining in the game.

Following the game, head coach Frank Vogel informed reporters that X-rays showed no significant damage to Booker’s ankle, but the severity of the sprain is still undetermined.

The Suns are set to play against Oklahoma City on Sunday night, and while Booker’s availability for the game is uncertain, Vogel hasn’t completely ruled out the possibility.
O’Neale
Additionally, O’Neale suffered an ankle injury during the same play, but it seems to be less severe. Vogel mentioned that O’Neale’s injury isn’t as worrisome and didn’t require X-rays like Booker’s.
Nurkic
In another incident, Suns center Jusuf Nurkic exited Saturday’s game in the second quarter and didn’t return after an accidental blow to the head from teammate Josh Okogie.
Although Nurkic was evaluated for a potential concussion, he was diagnosed with just a neck sprain, according to Vogel.
