The Los Angeles Lakers have added free agents Kylor Kelley and Quincy Olivari to their roster with Exhibit 10 contracts, as reported by Trevor Lane of Lakers Nation.
Kelley, a 7-foot center who went undrafted out of Oregon State in 2020, played for the Maine Celtics, Boston’s G League affiliate, last season.
He led the league with 2.9 blocks per game over 29 appearances, securing a place on the NBAGL All-Defensive team. The 26-year-old also added 7.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
On the other hand, Olivari, a 6’2″ guard, made a name for himself at Rice, where he was a two-time All-CUSA honoree before transferring to Xavier for his final college season in 2023/24.
Last season, he averaged 19.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. Olivari recently played for the Lakers’ Summer League team, while Kelley suited up for the Thunder’s squad.
These signings bring the Lakers’ roster to 20 players, including 15 on guaranteed contracts and three on two-way deals.
An Exhibit 10 contract is a non-guaranteed, minimum-salary agreement that only impacts a team’s salary cap if the player secures a spot on the regular season roster. Before the season starts, this type of contract can be converted into a two-way deal. Additionally, if a player is waived and later spends at least 60 days with the team’s G League affiliate, they may be eligible for a bonus of up to $77.5K.
