Alex Len plans to sign a one-year, $3.3 million contract to rejoin the Sacramento Kings, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Entering his fourth consecutive season as a backup center for Sacramento, Len averaged 1.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game last season.
With Harrison Barnes expected to be traded this summer, Alex Len is likely to serve as a backup to Trey Lyles next season, even though the team plans to bring in some new players during this offseason.
Drafted fifth overall in 2013, Len has never quite lived up to that early promise. He rejoined the Kings as a free agent in 2021 after a brief stint with them during the 2019-20 season.
