Key Miami Heat Player to Miss Celtics Game and Next Two Matches

Josh Richardson of the Miami Heat, currently dealing with a foot injury, won’t be hitting the court for the team’s next three games against the Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Washington Wizards, as per Underdog NBA.

This setback follows his mid-October injury, which has kept him sidelined since the season opener.

He couldn’t partake in practice before that game, hinting at the need for some conditioning before making his season debut.

At 30 years old, he brings a statistical record of 10.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, with shooting percentages of 43.1% from the field and 36.5% from three-point range.

He recently joined the Heat during the offseason but missed their first victory against the Detroit Pistons, where Bam Adebayo stepped up with 22 points and eight rebounds.

Richardson boasts eight seasons in the NBA, with his career averages standing at 11.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.

His shooting stats are 42.8% from the field and 36.5% from beyond the arc across 503 regular season games, along with 30 NBA playoff appearances.

The expected return date for Richardson is November 9 when the Miami Heat face the Memphis Grizzlies.

Meanwhile, Caleb Martin, Duncan Robinson, and Jaime Jaquez are listed probable for the  upcoming game against the Boston Celtics, but they might see increased playing time if they do take the court.
