Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic didn’t return for Saturday night’s game against the Houston Rickets due to a neck spasm, the team announced. Drew Eubanks took over in the second half for the injured Nurkic.
With just 1:40 remaining in the second quarter in tonight’s game, Nurkic had to head to the locker room following a collision.
Before leaving the court, he tallied 7 points, 4 assists, and 10 rebounds in just 17 minutes of play.
In case Nurkic is sidelined beyond tonight, Drew Eubanks is likely to handle most of the center minutes, although Thaddeus Young and Bol Bol are also options.
Elsewhere, Bradley Beal was ejected following the assessment of two technical fouls.
