Jrue Holiday Questionable for Game 3 Against Pacers Due to Illness

Jrue Holiday of the Boston Celtics is listed  questionable for Saturday’s Game 3 against the Indiana Pacers due to an illness, according to the team.

Alongside Jrue, Luke Kornet is also doubtful due to left wrist pain, and Porzingis is out with a right soleus strain, although Porzingis is expected to return for Game 4.

Holiday has been highly effective against the Pacers, scoring 43 points, dishing out 18 assists, and grabbing 10 rebounds while shooting 16-23 from the field over two games.

He is still likely to suit up for Game 3, but if he can’t, Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser are expected to see more playing time.

The Pacers are undefeated at home in the playoffs this postseason, and the Boston Celtics need to break that streak to keep their championship hopes alive, despite leading 2-0 in the series.

Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton is questionable for tonight after suffering a hamstring injury in Game 2 at the TD Garden.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, this type of injury could sideline Haliburton for several weeks, but the All-Star guard will still attempt to play tonight if possible.
