Joe Ingles, Timberwolves Agree to One-Year Deal

Free agent forward Joe Ingles is joining the Minnesota Timberwolves on a one-year deal. This move reunites him with former Utah Jazz teammates Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley Jr., according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Ingles became a free agent after the Magic declined his team option for the 2024/25 season. The 36-year-old had signed with the Magic last season after spending the previous year with the Bucks.

In 68 games with Orlando, Ingles averaged 4.4 points and shot 43.5% from three on 2.4 attempts per game.

Ingles started his NBA career in 2014 with the Utah Jazz, where he played for eight seasons. He has career averages of 8.1 points per game and a 41.0% three-point shooting percentage.

The departure of Kyle Anderson played a huge role in opening the door for Ingles to join the Western Conference Finalists this year, Wojnarowski adds. The Timberwolves are expected to remain active in the market this off-season.
