Jalen Suggs Diagnosed with Knee Sprain

Orlando Magic point guard Jalen Suggs is questionable to return for Game 2 of the team’s first-round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers after sustaining a left knee injury, as announced by the team.

The team further revealed that he has been diagnosed with an apparent knee sprain, however, he’s deemed fit to continue playing in the second half despite the injury.

Suggs, known for his outsanding defense on the perimeter, landed awkwardly and appeared to hyperextend his knee while attempting to defend Donovan Mitchell, who was driving to the foul line.

Suggs’ left knee buckled, and he fell to the court, where he remained for several minutes before being assisted off the court by teammates with 4:02 left in the first quarter. Suggs was unable to put any weight on his left leg as he was helped off the floor.

At the end of the second quarter, the Magic trailed the Cavs 58-44, and they currently trail 1-0 in the series.
