The Milwaukee Bucks kept their season going strong with a dominant 115-92 win over the Indiana Pacers in Game 5 of their playoff showdown.
Star duo Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are expected to return to action, with their availability being game-time decision, as confirmed by Bucks coach Doc Rivers during the press conference after the game. Rivers added that Lillard is more likely to play tonight compared to Giannis.
Antetokounmpo, who has been out of action since April 9 due to a calf injury suffered in the last game of the regular season, might make his comeback in Game 6, a bit over three weeks since his injury.
On the other hand, Lillard, who has been a key player for the Bucks this season, has consistently performed well, averaging 24.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 7.0 assists, and 1.0 steal per game, with shooting percentages of 42.4% from the field and 35.4% from three-point range across 73 games.
The Bucks, holding the third seed in the Eastern Conference, finished the regular season with an impressive 49-33 record. Driven by their disappointing early exit in last year’s playoffs against the Miami Heat, they’re eager to make a stronger playoff run this time.
