Garrett Temple, Raptors Agree to One-Year Deal

Free agent forward Garrett Temple has signed a one-year contract with the Toronto Raptors, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. This marks Temple’s return to the Raptors for his second year with the team.

Last season, the 38-year-old averaged 3.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in 10.7 minutes per game over 27 regular-season appearances.

Although Garrett Temple’s stats were modest, his leadership in the locker room was invaluable for the young Raptors.

With the Raptors set to get even younger after drafting four new prospects last week, his off-court presence will be crucial for the club.

Throughout his 14-year NBA career, Temple has averaged 6.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game over 743 regular-season contests.

Additionally, he holds a significant role as a vice president of the National Basketball Players Association.
