Eric Gordon has declined his player option with the Phoenix Suns and will enter free agency, as reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.
This season, Gordon played in 68 games, averaging 11.0 points, 2.0 assists, and 1.8 rebounds per game. He also shot 44.3% from the field and 37.8% from three-point range.
In his 24 games as a starter, Gordon’s numbers improved, averaging 15.4 points, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 rebounds per game.
Last offseason, Gordon attracted interest from the Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Milwaukee Bucks.
He became a free agent in 2023 after the Los Angeles Clippers chose not to guarantee his $21 million contract. Gordon is expected to draw attention from multiple contenders on the open market.
