Colts Sign G Jack Anderson

According to the NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Indianapolis Colts have officially inked a contract with Guard Jack Anderson, promoting him from their practice squad to the active roster.

Jack Anderson, aged 25, was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round during the 2021 NFL Draft, hailing from Texas Tech.

His initial rookie deal spanned four years, amounting to $3,583,742, with an additional signing bonus of $103,742.

Nonetheless, the Bills released him after the preseason, only to later reacquire him for their practice squad.

He subsequently found his way to the Philadelphia Eagles but was released as the season began, ultimately landing with the New York Giants.

In the year 2022, Anderson had the opportunity to grace the field in 12 games for the New York Giants, earning two starting positions during that time.

He then joined the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts in preparation for the 2023 season.

Throughout his remarkable four-year tenure at Texas Tech, Anderson demonstrated his prowess as a right guard, starting in all 38 contests he partook in.
