Trail Blazers’ Scoot Henderson won’t be playing in Tuesday’s game against the Miami Heat at the Moda Center due to an adductor injury.
This marks his third consecutive absence, and he’s likely to sit out the next three games on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies twice and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Head coach Chauncey Billups confirmed that Henderson hasn’t participated in any on-court activities yet and the team is being cautious with him.
Chauncey Billups says Scoot Henderson hasn’t done any on-court work yet and most likely will be out on the upcoming three-game road trip. “We’re just being really cautious with him.”

Missing the first three games after the All-Star break is disappointing, and he’ll have to wait until the Blazers take on SGA’s OKC Thunder at the Moda Center after their road trip for his next chance to play.
Additionally, the Trail Blazers have not won a game since Damian Lillard’s return to Portland with the Bucks, and they will be eager to secure a win tonight against the Heat, if only to maintain the bragging rights of not letting Dame go to Miami.
