Charles Barkley, a legend of the game and former 76er, never shies away from sharing his opinions, a valuable trait as he earns his keep as an analyst on TNT’s award-winning Inside the NBA studio show.

The Cleveland Cavaliers found themselves on TNT’s spotlight on Tuesday night, severely lacking key players like Donovan Mitchell, Caris LeVert, and Isaac Okoro.

Despite this, they surged to a commanding 12-point halftime lead and clinched a thrilling 122-119 overtime win against the Philadelphia 76ers on the road.

As the Cavs won, Barkley, a former member of the Sixers, shared overwhelmingly positive thoughts.

He conveyed to the TNT audience that, excluding his top three teams—the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and Sixers—the Cavs boast the most talent in the Eastern Conference, suggesting they are in close proximity to those elite three.

During the halftime analysis on Tuesday’s game, Barkley remarked, “They have two guards, Mitchell and Darius Garland, who are All-Stars. Would love to see them if they get healthy.”

Notably, recent challenges like injuries and health concerns haven’t significantly hindered the Cavs (8-6), who are currently on a four-game winning streak, victorious in six of their last eight games, culminating in a particularly impressive triumph entering Wednesday’s home game against the Miami Heat.
