Celtics’ Injury Report: Neemias Queta Ruled Out for Wizards Game

Neemias Queta of the Boston Celtics won’t be taking the court against the Washington Wizards on Monday, as he’s dealing with soreness in his right foot, the team announced.

Although he hasn’t made an appearance in the regular season yet, his foot ailment will keep him out of action.

The towering 7-foot center boasts a career stat line of 2.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game across 20 appearances.

The next chance for him to join the game will come on Wednesday when they face off against the Indiana Pacers.

As for the Wizards, Daniel Gafford’s availability is uncertain as he deals with a left ankle sprain, while Landry Shamet won’t be participating due to a toe fracture.

In a matchup at the Capital One Arena, the undefeated Boston Celtics (2-0) are set to face the Washington Wizards (1-1) with the game scheduled to tip-off at 8:00 PM EST.
