Bulls Trade Alex Caruso to OKC for Josh Giddey

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Oklahoma City Thunder are set to acquire guard Alex Caruso from the Chicago Bulls in a trade for wing Josh Giddey.

By bringing Caruso on board, the Thunder are enhancing their defensive capabilities, while the Bulls gain a young, playmaking talent in Giddey.

Both Caruso and Giddey are nearing the end of their current contracts. The Thunder are reportedly keen on negotiating an extension with Caruso before he becomes an unrestricted free agent next summer.

Meanwhile, the Bulls have the chance to offer Giddey a rookie scale extension. If they don’t reach an agreement, Giddey will be eligible for restricted free agency in the summer of 2025.
