Bones Hyland of the Los Angeles Clippers is facing uncertainty regarding his availability for Friday’s game against the Utah Jazz, according to reports from Underdog NBA.
Interestingly, Hyland’s name did not appear on the Clippers’ initial injury report for the Friday matchup.
However, it’s worth noting that he continues to grapple with a lingering left ankle sprain, an injury he incurred during a preseason game against the Nuggets on October 19.
Notably, Hyland was considered questionable and subsequently participated in Wednesday’s regular-season opener.
Nonetheless, the team is expected to exercise caution and closely monitor his condition in the lead-up to Friday’s game, ultimately deciding whether he will be fit to play.
During the Clippers’ season opener against the Portland Trail Blazers, the 23-year-old impressively contributed 17 points and three assists in a 22-minute performance, underscoring his importance to the team’s lineup.
