The Portland Trail Blazers are set to ink a 10-day deal with Guard Taze Moore of the team’s G League affiliate, the Rip City Remix, as per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Moore, who played college basketball under Kelvin Sampson at Houston, has been dividing his time between the Trail Blazers’ G League squad and the Texas Legends during the current 2023-24 season.
In five G League games, he averaged 9.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 24.5 minutes. His consistent performance throughout the season has earned him the accolade of being one of the best defenders on the perimeter.
Signing Moore means the Blazers now have 14 players with regular contracts and three players with two-way deals.
