Anthony Edwards, who was initially listed as questionable, has been cleared to play in tonight’s home game against the Sacramento Kings as per the team’s PR.
Edwards continues to impress this season, boasting impressive averages of 26.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, while maintaining shooting percentages of 46.9% from the field and 38.1% from beyond the arc across 56 games.
The Timberwolves have been having a stellar season, currently holding the top spot in the Western Conference with a 42-17 record through 59 games.
They are riding a three-game winning streak and have been dominant, posting an 8-2 record over their last ten matchups. Their latest victory came against the Memphis Grizzlies, defeating them 110-101.
In his standout performance against the Grizzlies, Edwards contributed 34 points, along with two rebounds, four assists, and one block.
Despite struggling from three-point range, shooting 1/6, he still managed to shoot 11/21 from the field in 40 minutes of gameplay.
Following their clash with the Kings, the Timberwolves will stay put at home to face James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday afternoon at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
