Timberwolves Announce Coaching and Medical Staff Changes for 2024/25 Season

The Minnesota Timberwolves have announced some updates about their coaching and medical staffs, with most of the changes involving promotions within the team ahead of the 2024/25 NBA season.

Coaches Max Lefevre, Jeff Newton, Chris Hines, Nathan Bubes, Moses Ehambe, and James White were all promoted internally.

James White, recognized for his incredible dunking skills, was the 31st pick in the 2006 NBA Draft. He played parts of three NBA seasons and enjoyed a long professional career in Europe.

In addition to these promotions, the Timberwolves welcomed former NBA player Joey Dorsey to their staff as a player development assistant.

Dorsey, like White, had a successful career in Europe. On the analytics side, Cole Fisher has been elevated to the role of manager of basketball analytics.

On the medical side, Gregg Farnam, who has been with the Timberwolves for 27 years—24 of those as head athletic trainer—has been promoted to vice president of medical services.

Erin Seirer, who has spent the last five years as an assistant athletic trainer, has been promoted to head athletic trainer, becoming the first woman to hold this position in the team’s history.

Additionally, Lisa Pataky has joined the medical team as a sports physical therapist.
