After recently declining his team option, the Washington Wizards are re-signing Tristan Vukcevic on a two-way contract, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Vukcevic was drafted by Washington with the 42nd pick in 2023, but he spent most of the season playing for KK Partizan in Serbia.
He joined the Wizards in March, starting in four out of the 10 games he played. During his short stint in the NBA, he averaged 8.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 15.3 minutes per game.
The Wizards are also expected to be active in the trade market. Several teams have shown interest in 28 year old forward Kyle Kuzma, and Washington is reportedly seeking two first-round picks in exchange for him.
