The Utah Jazz have signed Drew Eubanks to a lucrative two-year, $10 million deal, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Eubanks, 31, played as a backup for Phoenix last season, averaging 5.1 points and 4.3 rebounds across 75 games. He opted out of a $2.65 million player option for the next season, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Eubanks entered the NBA in 2018 with a two-way contract for the Spurs and spent three and a half seasons with them before being traded to Toronto. After being waived by the Raptors, he signed with Portland and later joined the Suns as a free agent last summer.
In Utah, Eubanks will vie for playing time with third-year center Walker Kessler and veteran John Collins. Additionally, the Jazz recently drafted Duke’s big man Kyle Filipowski. The Jazz are expected to be on the market once again regarding potential trades of Jordan Clarkson, Collin Sexton among other notable players on the roster.
