Raptors Sign Branden Carlson and Quincy Guerrier to Exhibit 10, Two-Way Contracts

The Toronto Raptors have signed Quincy Guerrier, an undrafted forward from Montreal who played at the University of Illinois, to an Exhibit 10 deal.

Additionally, they’ve secured Branden Carlson from the University of Utah on a two-way contract, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Carlson had a standout ’23-24 season, averaging 17.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.8 blocks, and 1.8 assists per game, leading the Runnin’ Utes in points, rebounds, and blocks.

He received First-Team All-Pac-12 honors for his performance this season, marking his third consecutive year earning All-Pac-12 recognition.

Carlson is also only the second player in Utah basketball history, after Delon Wright, to achieve back-to-back first-team selections.

Moreover, he is one of just twelve players in the Pac-12 since 2000 to earn three all-conference selections, with a second-team nod in 2022 followed by consecutive first-team accolades in recent seasons.

Short notes on exhibit 10 deals:

“A team can have up to six Exhibit 10 contracts simultaneously, with the ability to convert them to two-way deals before the regular season starts, and further convert those into standard NBA contracts; any Exhibit 10 bonus earned by a player assigned to the G League or on a two-way contract doesn’t contribute to the NBA team’s salary cap.”
