Temi Fagbenle to Miss at Least 2-3 Weeks, Erica Wheeler Out For Thursday vs Storm

The Indiana Fever announced on Wednesday that Temi Fagbenle sustained a left foot injury during Tuesday’s game against the Sparks. She will undergo re-evaluation in 2-3 weeks.

Additionally, Erica Wheeler will be absent from Thursday’s game against the Storm due to personal reasons.

Temi Fagbenle has truly shone for the Fever this season, standing out with her calmness, quickness, and overall talent on a youthful team.

Despite only playing 8 games, Fagbenle has already logged more minutes (23.7mpg) than her rookie year.

Her importance to the Indiana team is already significant, and as the young Fever squad learns the ropes of winning, Fagbenle serves as a prime example.

This season, she’s averaging 9.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game, shooting an impressive 57% from the field.

For Wheeler, her next chance suit up will be against the Chicago Sky at home on Saturday.
