According to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, the Phoenix Suns are nearing the hiring of Matt Tellem, an executive from the Brooklyn Nets, for a front office position.
This news follows shortly after the Suns introduced Mike Budenholzer as their new head coach and aligns with previous reports from Arizona Sports’ John Gambadoro indicating forthcoming changes in the Suns’ front office.
Trade Rumors – Retaining the Big 3
In a recent interview with Arizona Sports’ Burns and Gambo, Suns GM James Jones told stated that their BIG 3 Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant, and Devin Booker are not on the trading block this offseason.
Despite speculation and trade rumors surrounding the Suns’ Big 3 following their playoff exit, it seems unlikely that any of these star players will be moved, especially considering the team’s salary cap situation and limited options for significant roster changes.
While trade speculation may persist, the Suns’ front office has made it clear that they are committed to keeping their core intact for the upcoming season.
In his career, Kevin Durant has averaged 26.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 49 games playing with Bradley Beal. Meanwhile, Devin Booker put up 27.7 points, 6.8 assists, and 4.2 rebounds in 45 games alongside Beal this season.
