Kristaps Porzingis is doubtful to return tonight because of tightness in his right calf, according to the Celtics.
During the first half of Monday’s Game 4 against the Heat, Porzingis headed to the locker room with what seemed to be a lower body injury.
Porziņģis seemed to grab at his right leg after a play just before this one (footage below), and then he visibly struggled here. Shortly after, he signaled to be substituted out. This season, he has been sidelined due to a right hamstring strain and a left calf strain, but not for a right calf issue.
In the picture below, you can see where Porziņģis stepped on Herro’s heel with his left foot, causing him to start limping.
Initially, he seemed fine for a few possessions after shaking it off, but then while attempting to hand off the ball a few plays later, he immediately experienced discomfort and headed to the locker room.

If Porzingis can’t return, Al Horford and Luke Kornet could see increased playing time in the frontcourt. The Celtics are currently ahead by 17 points at halftime, and a victory tonight would give them a 3-1 series lead.
