The Detroit Pistons announced on Monday that Marcus Sasser’s injured knee will undergo another evaluation in a week’s time.
Sasser, who was already sidelined for a second consecutive game against the New York Knicks due to a right knee contusion suffered in Thursday’s match against the Indiana Pacers, is facing further assessment.
With the recent addition of Quentin Grimes to the team during the trade deadline, Sasser’s playing time was expected to decrease, and his absence from the lineup doesn’t necessarily mean increased opportunities for other backup guards in Detroit.
