NBA analyst Nick Wright has been a consistent critic of Nikola Jokic for the past few years, but he has finally admitted that he was mistaken about the two-time MVP.
Nick didn’t believe Jokic was a subpar player, but he did feel that the excessive hype around him was premature.
However, he has since acknowledged his error and conveyed a message to Nuggets fans during a recent segment on his show.
“My general gripe was, I felt Nikola Jokic was a very, very good player who was being treated like an all-time legend. I was wrong. He’s an all-time legend. That’s where I was wrong” Nick Said

Wright’s statement was rather refreshing, especially considering the significant number of detractors he has understandably amassed in Denver.
He took the time to directly acknowledge these individuals and openly stated that they are entitled to be as frustrated with him as they choose.
Having admitted his error, Wright now unequivocally acknowledges Nikola Jokic as the legendary player he truly is, a message he made abundantly clear to the devoted Denver Nuggets supporters during this segment.
