The Indianapolis Colts’ quarterback, Anthony Richardson, has undergone a successful shoulder surgery in Los Angeles, as confirmed by team owner Jim Irsay on X(formerly twitter) today.
Richardson sustained a Grade 3 sprain to the AC joint in his throwing shoulder during the Week 5 victory against the Tennessee Titans.
Subsequently, he was placed on the injured reserve list, and it was determined that he would have surgery, ending his season.
Anthony Richardson’s surgery in Los Angeles today went well, with the medical procedure to repair his shoulder injury going as expected, per Jim Irsay.
There were no unexpected findings during the surgery, and there’s currently no set timeline for his return to the field, Jim added.
Jim Irsay also revealed that the NFL admitted to making errors at the conclusion of the Browns game. So, it’s one of those ‘Apologies for the slip-up, now let’s move forward and deal with it.’
