Scottie Barnes has rejoined Raptors’ training sessions in preparation for their season opener. This comes after he left Friday’s game, showing discomfort in his foot, as reported by Michael Grange of Sportsnet.
During Sunday’s practice, the third-year Raptors forward, Scottie Barnes, was actively engaged, despite his exit from the preseason finale against the Wizards due to a sprained right foot, which led to his absence for the remainder of that game.
In the aforementioned game, the former Rookie of the Year seemed to injure his ankle or foot in a play without direct contact.

Yet, Raptors’ head coach, Darko Rajakovic, downplayed the severity of the injury after the game. He assured reporters that Barnes is in good health, as noted by Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca.
Darko’s statements appear to be accurate, as Barnes actively participated in today’s practice. This indicates that Barnes will be ready to play on the opening night for the Raptors when they face the Timberwolves.
