The Milwaukee Bucks have released forward Glenn Robinson III, swingman Elijah Hughes, and guard Kihei Clark, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac.
Robinson, who has an extensive NBA career with over 300 regular-season games since his debut in 2014, inked an Exhibit 10 contract with Milwaukee last Thursday.
This move suggests that the 29-year-old is likely headed to the Wisconsin Herd, the Bucks’ G League affiliate, as he aims for an NBA comeback.
A similar trajectory is expected for Hughes and Clark, both of whom also signed non-guaranteed camp deals on Thursday.
Their contracts include Exhibit 10 clauses that could earn them bonuses of up to $75,000 if they spend a minimum of 60 days with the Herd.
With these cuts, the Bucks now have 18 players on their roster, including 15 on guaranteed contracts, two on two-way agreements, and big man Marques Bolden on an Exhibit 10 deal.
Milwaukee may solidify its regular-season roster by converting Bolden into a two-way contract, but it’s unclear whether that will occur or if there are other moves on the horizon before the Monday deadline for the regular season roster.
